Mikey From Auburn California Invented The Skateboard Used In The Monkees
Mikey knew if he had a a half horsepower engine and put on a bicycle, that
the police could not give him a ticket. He put one on a skateboard and was
doing 25 miles per hour. The police pulled him over, and sure enough, they
couldn't give him a ticket.
Popular Mechanics magazine found out, then he had his picture taken, also
they gave him $50.00 for his invention.
This was copied and used in The Monkees, following Mikey's invention.

Here's the pictures of the altered car.
I seen the car in 1988 at the Sacramento

smoke stacks, steel wheels, Strombecker carbs ,wide
whites on narrow big and little tires, cut down 1932

wheel, Naugahyde upholstery "T" bucket,tall "T"
