Mikey In Auburn California Invented The Motorized Skateboard Used In The Monkees

Mikey From Auburn California Invented The Skateboard Used In The Monkees
Mikey knew if he had a a half  horsepower engine and put on a bicycle, that
the police could not give him a ticket. He put one on a skateboard and was
doing 25 miles per hour. The police pulled him over, and sure enough, they
couldn't give him a ticket.
Popular Mechanics magazine found out, then he had his picture taken, also
they gave him $50.00 for his invention.
This was copied and used in The Monkees, following Mikey's invention.

Mecum Auction Is Auction The Original Kookies "T" In May

This original car was totally changed
from the car from 77 Sunset Strip. Still
this dual thin pie crusted blown car is cool.

This cream diamond button tufted car
is a sight to see. Tall cream tall buckets seats,
head rests, vertical double headlights, chrome
reverse wheels with spider caps and bullet dust
covers, rare turbine mags, red flames and  more
makes this a winner with two four holed injector
scoops too. two set of three organ pipes as headers.
Here's the pictures  of the altered car.

I seen the car in 1988 at the Sacramento
Autorama with Norm. It was a sapphire blue with
the identical flames as the original car with the cool

smoke stacks, steel wheels, Strombecker carbs ,wide
whites on narrow big and little tires, cut down 1932
radiator grill shell and grill, three prong steering
wheel, Naugahyde upholstery "T" bucket,tall "T"
with chrome window braces.
